Music Heals was created for two reasons.
One is to bring together people with a love of music and a desire to make a difference in their communities. The second is to provide healing and support through the power of the universal language: music.
Founded by Debbie Schultz and Stephanie Lowery, both on a mission to bring people together who have a love of music and a desire to make a difference in their communities. Through events like its upcoming concert, Music Heals strives to provide healing and support through the power of music.
All proceeds from this concert will support Hop on A Cure, a cause dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the fight against ALS. By joining us for this event, you'll enjoy an evening of incredible music and contribute to a cause near and dear to our hearts.
Coy Bowles, guitarist, organist and songwriter of Zac Brown Band, and five time children's author will be our Emcee & Auctioneer.
July 2022 was the first-ever Music Heals concert benefiting Hop On A Cure, a foundation created by our dear friend, John Driskell Hopkins of Zac Brown Band, to find a cure for ALS.
Our past artist lineup included acts such as Shawn Mullins, Angie Aparo, Sonia Leigh, Clay Cook, Coy Bowles, Levi Lowrey, Wyatt Durrette, Leah Calvert, Mike Rizzi, Max Gomez, and Kristy Lee.
With a Special Guest Performance by Zac Brown.
"In 2019, John Driskell Hopkins, founding member of Zac Brown Band, noticed some unusual difficulties when playing his guitar. Two years later, he was diagnosed with ALS. John and his wife, Jennifer, created Hop On A Cure Foundation.
Hop On A Cure is a nationwide nonprofit committed to supporting research to prevent, reverse, and cure ALS while raising awareness, building a compassionate community, and unleashing the healing power of hope. To learn more, visit HopOnACure.org."
